Community guidelines

Assetplace is a home for Black Ops III community assets and tools. These guidelines keep it useful and safe for everyone. Publishing here means agreeing to them.

What you can publish

• BO3 mods, weapons, scripts, prefabs, models, tools, and related creative works.
• Work you made yourself, or work you have permission and the rights to redistribute.
• Content that credits its sources. If your upload includes ported assets, sounds, or third-party scripts, say so and confirm you're allowed to share them.

What isn't allowed

• Malware or anything harmful: no viruses, backdoors, credential grabbers, miners, or code that damages or spies on a user's system.
• Stolen or ripped work: don't re-upload someone else's creation as your own, and don't redistribute assets you don't have the rights to (including paid assets).
• Raw assets: assets that have been set up in the BO3 mod tools are acceptable, raw dumps are not.
• Off-topic content: uploads should be for the BO3 community. This isn't a general file host.
• Illegal, hateful, or harassing content, or anything that puts the community at risk of disrepute or legal trouble.
• Misleading listings: broken download links, wrong licenses, or descriptions that don't match what you're actually shipping.

How review works

New publishers' uploads are checked by an admin before they appear in the catalogue. Trusted publishers' uploads go live instantly, but everything remains subject to these guidelines, including edits and new versions of an already-published asset, which re-enter review if you're not yet a trusted publisher.

We host metadata and links only. The actual files live on hosting you provide, which means we can't scan them ourselves, so honest listings and community reports are what keep things clean.

Reporting a problem & takedowns

If you find malware, stolen work, or a listing that misuses your content, tell us and we'll act on it. Rights holders can request removal of their content at any time.

Report it in the BO3 Mod Tools Discord, or contact the maintainers there. We remove content that violates these guidelines and may revoke publishing access for repeat or serious violations.
